Transformative Dos Ojos Cenote: Private Swim & Mayan Feast

The private cenote tour was an incredible experience from start to finish, and it was made exceptional by our fantastic guide, Josh, and our smooth driver, Omar. As soon as we were picked up Josh immediately provided a detailed overview of the trip, giving us all the necessary information about the driving distance, the plan, and what to expect at each location. He also gave fantastic recommendations as to the features of the different cenotes to determine which we would like to visit. The pacing of the tour was perfect for getting the best experience at two different cenotes. We had all the relevant equipment provided to us, including life vest and snorkeling equipment. Josh was an incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, leading us through the first cenote and sharing information about the geology and history of these natural wonders. After the guided experience, we loved that we were given the freedom to explore and enjoy the second cenote at our own pace.

This was our second trip to Cancun, and we chose to do a snorkeling and cenote adventure—it was one of the best family experiences we’ve ever had! The tour was so much fun, and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend this unforgettable day! Thank you Josh for taking us around!

We had an amazing private guide of the Dos Ojos cenotes with Juan. He was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable of the cenotes and of the whole area. He was also very personable, we felt like we were hanging out with a friend. The cenotes were absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the bats and the caves. Afterwards Juan took us to a Mexican cafe in Akumal for lunch and it was so delicious. We won’t hesitate to book with Absolute Adventure the next time we go to Mexico.

Awesome tour would recommend to anyone I know that is coming to Tulum. Just go ahead and book its bomb you won’t regret it.

Wonderful from top to bottom. The tour guide Josh was terrific. Snorkeling around Dos Ojos will be a highlight memory of our trip,. Josh was very knowledgeable about the local culture and region, and he was happy to help take pictures of us at key moments. Honestly the snorkeling is so immersive in the dark caves lit only by flashlight that you’d almost think you were scuba diving. Highly recommended!

This was a great experience and way cooler than we imagined. We took our 7 yr old twins and it was awesome for them. I would probably not take any younger kids since you would not be able to get the full experience. The travel guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The transportation was on time and made it very easy. It was also nice that it was a private tour without the crowds.

Alexa do Jeremy we’re absolutely amazing tour guides! I was worried the ride from the hotel to cenote would feel long, but Alex gave us an incredible history lesson that made the time fly by! He knew exactly where to go and who to speak with at the cenote so o just got to sit back and enjoy the experience. He even would get out and bring our shoes to the next area so our feet didn’t hurt on the ground. 10/10 would reccomend!

Great trip! Auturo was a wonderful guide. Off season was a great time to go, we had the entire place to ourselves. Beautiful and peaceful! Lunch was outstanding. Highly recommend!
